1. Remove bandage after 2 hours.
2. Do NOT re-bandage
3. Gently clean tattoo with warm water and anti-bacterial soap. (We recommend
liquid dial with no perfume and/or dyes)
4. Apply a thin layer of A&D ointment to the tattoo 2-3 times a day for 7-10 days.
(Note: your tattoo will secrete some blood and ink for the first couple of days,
this is normal.)
5. Stay out of direct sunlight and/or tanning beds for 7-10 days. Spray tans will
also wreck a tattoo.
6. Do NOT soak your tattoo in the tub, sauna or jacuzzi until tattoo is completely
healed. Showers are okay, keep using anti-bacterial soap.
7. Do NOT rub, pick or scratch at your new tattoo. Loss of color and/or
infection can occur.
8. Extreme exposure to the sun over the years will fade your tattoo ; this can be
minimized by using a sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher.
9. Keep tattoo area clean throughout the entire healing process, which last
approximately 10-14 days.
Signs & Symptoms of infection :
-Redness after the first day.
-Fever and drainage (pus)

Body Piercing AfterCare
1.DO NOT TOUCH! You must wash your hands before touching your fresh
piercing
2. Do NOT use rubbing alcohol, hydrogen peroxide or Neosporin to care for your
piercing.
Clean your piercing once a day in the shower with liquid anti-bacterial soap
(we recommend Dial, with NO perfumes or dyes.) Soap up your hands and then
work the soap into the piercing for about 20 seconds, then thoroughly was the
soap out.
You will notice "crusties" forming on the jewelry and the surrounding
skin...DON'T FREAK OUT! This is perfectly normal. Use a mixture of NON-iodized
sea salt and water. 1/4 tsp of sea salt to 1 cup of distilled water, mix well. Use a
q-tip to clean the crusties. Never pick at the piercing with your fingers as it can
cause scarring or even worse, INFECTION.
If there is any redness or puffiness, you can soak the piercing with the salt
water mixture once or twice a day. Put the sea salt mixture into a shot glass and
create a vacuum over the piercing allowing it to soak for 2-3 minutes, then rinse
area with fresh water.
If there is any suspicion of infection (fever, swelling, or oozing pus), do NOT
take the jewelry out! Keep cleaning the area according to all the instructions and if
it does not start to clear up in a few days, call us or seek out the opinion of a
physician.
